Delta helped to bring a girl to her mother for a last farewell

A rare girl has shared a touching story of how Delta Air Lines helped her say her latest farewell to her dying mother.

Hannah White reported on a tiktok now viral who has gained 10.3 million views and 1.9 million likes-that the carrier made it possible for her to see her mother just one day before she passed.

Her mother, Kathleen Nelson, was in the hospital for unprecedented pneumonia and was “doing well” after surgery, she wrote in the video.

But then she received a call from her brother, informing her that her mother’s body had gone to septic shock and “the family had to visit her immediately.”

“Doctors didn’t know what was wrong or how long it had,” White said.

She immediately reserved the first flight from Dallas the next day, which had a connection to Minneapolis, to arrive at Bismarck Municipal Airport in Northern Dakota.

The connecting flight time would be fine, but the aircraft from Dallas had mechanical issues and they landed on the plane at Dallas Fort Worth airport for more than an hour, she explained.

“I knew if I didn’t make my connecting flight, I wouldn’t see my mother until the next day and we weren’t sure she would be alive,” shared White.

White explained the situation to a flight companion and asked if there was anything she could do to make sure she got on the connecting flight to see her mother.

Flight doctor Eva Ortiz, CNN reported, returned to the white place and told her that unfortunately, she would lose her second flight and that the airline had already reserved it on a new flight for the next day.

“As she explained this, I immediately started gathering with tears,” White said. “She apologized and wept with me.”

“I gathered in my country, knowing that there was a possibility that I would not be able to see my mother one last time.”

But Delta did not drop it down.

An hour later, Ortiz returned to the white seat and told what the pilot, Captain Keith Napolitano, called the other pilot to the connecting flight and explained its story.

The other pilot agreed to hold the plane and wait for her so that she can see her mother.

“The stars do not always line up where I have the immediate ability to influence the result, but that was one of those cases when I felt possible,” Napolitano CNN Travel told.

White said they slammed her in the first grade in the first flight so that she could be able to get off the plane faster.

“When I arrived at my first class seat, the pilot made a notice to the whole plane to leave me first so I could do it to say goodbye to my mother,” she wrote.

She indicated that passengers helped her as well. The man sitting next to her in the first grade realized that the pilot was talking about her, so he pulled a map of the airport and helped her understand where the connecting gate would be.

“He told me to run as soon as I could get down as soon as possible,” she said.

She left the plane and ran to the second flight, knowing that the plane had been waiting 30 minutes for her.

“All the time I was painting my mother and how would she run all the place for me,” shared White.

When she arrived in flight, the whole plane was sitting and waiting, and she knew she would be able to rest knowing that she would take to see her mother that night.

“I did it on my flight and all the staff happily welcomed me saying,” We’ve been waiting for you, Hannah, “she added.

“As I left, all the flight participants gave me encouraging words and wished me luck,” White said, adding that the pilot shook his hand and told her he would pray for him.

The white mother passed away the next day, and thanks to Delta she took an additional 24 hours with her.

“I have been able to say” I love you last one time and ensure comfort for her in her last moments she gave me all my life. “

“Thank you, Delta. You gave me the gift of time. You have a client forever in me, ”White concluded.
